Sometimes it’s ok to lose your breath, at least for a second. Often in mindfulness, we intentionally focus on our inhales and exhales, ensuring that they are – and we – are present. Your body holds a lot of wisdom, though, and the people and moments that cause you to forget your exhale can show you a lot about what resonates with you — what you might want to follow one step further to learn more. That one step becomes two, and then four, and who knows what kind of life that willingness to explore might enable you to build.
