There are so many wonderful tricks of the trade out there for finding calm, many of which you hear me talk about here on this site, and elsewhere. What I love about mindfulness, though, is most of our options involve tuning in to yourself, and connecting with the peace that is always right there at your center. There’s plenty of noise to make your way through on the way, but with your intention, attention and your breath, you can tap into it. And even if you don’t feel that connection on a particular day, the effort itself is more than enough. In fact – between you and me – it actually is the meditation.
