When we need answers, we usually know how to look for them. We ask for advice, do research, look for signs and think…and think…and think about them. Most of the process is external, and what’s internal is mostly in our brains. Whether you’re trying to make a choice about something singular, or decide where to go next with your “one wild and precious life” (M. Oliver), we tend to value what we see and hear around us over the wisdom that lies inherently within us.
Although as a coach, I am definitely a fan of seeking advice, as you start this week, try checking in to what your internal voice has to say to you. Branches can be really nice to look at, but those roots run pretty deep.
