Good morning! A few thoughts here, as you start your week, on the role of planning and expectations in our lives. Both have their place, but sometimes we get caught up in where we think we’re going, or where we want to go, and fail to see where life is actually steering us. This isn’t about “settling” or lowering the bar, but more so not missing clues for opportunities that our natural strengths and talents create for us. Sometimes we have the story written before it actually plays out, and we forget to be present for that part. When it doesn’t align, we push, pull and strain in battle with it, instead of opening ourselves up to what reality may be offering. It’s not about giving up, but it is about paying attention. Reality may take you farther than you had ever dared to dream.
